Artificial fish lakes of Azerbaijan under liquidation Fishing
State Committee on real estate matters takes measures to ensure efficient use of land in Azerbaijan.
State Committee on real estate matters informed that on 9 September raids and monitoring for creation of artificial fish lakes (ponds) were carried out in Salyan Region and Neftchala Region of Azerbaijan.
As a result, there are 304 artificial ponds in Azerbaijan, in particular, in Neftchala, Salyan, Bilasuvar, Hajigabul, Saatli, Sabirabad, Imishli and Yevlakh regions,” the Committee reported.
According to the Committee, all these ponds are created on seedling plots of citizens, on the state winter pastures, on the reserved areas and on the municipal lands. In the results of revealed violations we drew up the administrative protocols and used penal sanctions for violators.
“At the same time the Committee also monitors for identifying illegal constructions in the protected coastal area of the Caspian Sea. As a result, we revealed such facts in Baku and country’s region, and currently we are taking appropriate legal measures,” the Committee said.
